Planning a trip to England’s capital city for your summer holidays? There’ll be plenty of exciting events taking place there this month. Here are a few of them.

Outdoor concerts with some of the world’s biggest music stars

1                The British Summer Time Hyde Park (BST Hyde Park) is a music festival held once a year in London’s largest and oldest park. In the past, it took place over two weekends, but this year it will be three – from June 24 to July 10.

2                Some of music’s biggest legends have headlined the festival in the past – Celine Dion, Taylor Swift, The Who and Black Sabbath have all played BST Hyde Park. And this year will be no exception, with each weekend featuring a huge star or band. The line-up for this July includes Elton John, the Rolling Stones, the Eagles, Adele, Pearl Jam and Duran Duran.

3                Tickets for Elton John and Adele sold out quickly. Check the festival’s website bst-hydepark.com to see what tickets are available for the other shows.
